Replacing Your Samsung Water Filter

Firstly turn off the cold water supply and ensure that the water flow to the existing filter has been stopped.



Remove the tubing from the ends of the old filter. please be aware that some water will drain from the filter and pipes so have a towel to hand to mop up any spillage.



You can now dispose of the old water filter.



Unscrew the threaded connector and place it over the end of the cut section of pipe coming from your fridge freezer.



Push the pipe over the end of the filter that the flow arrow points to.



Tighten up the threaded connector at each end of the water filter once you have it in place.



Turn your water supply back on and check the filter area for leaks.



Run water through the dispenser for 2-3 minutes to clean the system through.



Reset the “Filter Indicator” light by pressing and holding the Ice Type and the Child Lock (or Moisture Control) buttons simultaneously for 3 seconds and the light should turn green indicating that the counter is reset..
